One of the draws for many people visiting Phuket is the opportunity to sample seafood so fresh, it was pulled out of the sea just hours before. There are numerous restaurants around the island that serve up delicious seafood but few can claim to be as large or as popular Savoey. Savoey Seafood  is a large, open-plan restaurant with a seating capacity of 400 plus, but you would never know. Despite its size, service is excellent – polite and considerate. And the food is served with Formula 1 speed – helped by having three separate operation kitchens. Although it can seat many, Savoey is very popular and getting there early is recommended. Diners can pick and mix to determine what ends up on their plate by visiting the ice beds where crabs, lobsters, whole fish, prawns and more, which, despite being dead, vie for people’s attention. It would be a real shame if you missed the opportunity to dine at this first-class seafood restaurant during your stay on Phuket Island.
